How to Set Up IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV (UK 2026)
Samsung TVs run Tizen, not Android, so the setup is a little different — but you can absolutely watch IPTV on a Samsung without any extra box. Here is the reliable way to do it in the UK.
Install IPTV on Samsung (Tizen)
- Open the Samsung Smart Hub and search the app store for an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters or Smart IPTV (SIPTV).
- Install the app and open it to find your device MAC address if the app needs one.
- Add your playlist with the Xtream Codes login or M3U URL we provide.
- For SIPTV, upload your playlist via the SIPTV website using your MAC address.
- Let the guide load, then save your favourite channels for quick access.
If your Samsung has no suitable app
Older Tizen sets sometimes drop apps from the store. The simplest fix is a £30 Fire TV Stick in a spare HDMI port — it gives you every player app and often smoother 4K than the TV's own chip.
Picture settings for IPTV
Turn on Game Mode or lower picture processing to reduce input lag and judder on live sport, and set the TV to match the stream's resolution rather than upscaling everything to 4K.
Frequently asked questions
Does IPTV work on all Samsung Smart TVs?
